Private combined Autism and ADHD assessments for children and adults
Both assessments together in one coordinated, face-to-face process, with built-in support after your diagnosis.

Whether you’re seeking clarity for your child or for yourself, we’re here to guide you through every step.
Autism and ADHD, considered together
If you’re looking for answers for your child or yourself, a combined Autism and ADHD assessment can give you clarity and a way forward. Our private combined assessments help you understand how someone experiences the world, looking at Autism and ADHD together in one coordinated process so neither is missed. We take a strengths-based approach, focusing on each person’s strengths as well as the areas where support may help. Whatever the outcome, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding and a sense of what to do next.
Our assessments are carried out by our multidisciplinary team of experienced clinicians, in line with NICE guidelines. We use gold-standard diagnostic tools for each: the ADOS-2 and ADI-R for Autism, the QbCheck or QbTest and DIVA interview for ADHD, alongside the BRIEF executive function questionnaire.
We also have significant experience assessing people who’ve been considered hard to assess in the past, and we work to make the process feel calm and predictable throughout.

What makes our Autism assessments different

Five things you can expect from us:
- Both diagnoses, one timeline. NHS waiting lists can stretch to years, and going through two separate pathways means waiting twice. We deliver both diagnoses in one coordinated process.
- Meeting you where you’re most comfortable. Unlike many providers, we can carry out the assessment fully face-to-face, at our clinics or at your home, with home visits included at no extra cost. For a combined assessment, in-person sessions help us see how Autism and ADHD traits show up together in real time. Online sessions are also available – the choice is yours.
- One team, both pathways. Every combined assessment is reviewed by clinicians from both Autism and ADHD pathways, meeting together to formulate the diagnoses as one coordinated picture.
- Recognised where it matters. Our reports are recognised by employers and the NHS. They are also recognised by schools, including for Individual Development Plan (IDP) applications in Wales or Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) applications in England.
- Support beyond the report. We help with school accommodations and workplace adjustments, and think through what having both diagnoses means for daily life.
Child Autism and ADHD assessment

Child autism and ADHD assessment
If you’ve noticed differences in how your child communicates, plays or relates to others, alongside struggles with focus, organisation or sitting still, a combined assessment can give you a complete picture and a way forward.
We assess children and teenagers in a calm, considered way, taking time to build a connection so we get an accurate picture of them.

What it involves
Four main appointments: the ADOS-2 (the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) with your child, the ADI-R interview with you as parent or guardian, the QbCheck or QbTest with your child, and the Young DIVA interview with you.
We also use the BRIEF2 questionnaire and Conners 4 ADHD questionnaire to understand how your child manages everyday tasks like planning, organisation and emotional regulation, and we involve your child’s school or education setting so the picture is complete.

Why it helps
For many families, getting both diagnoses together is the moment everything makes sense.
The whole family gains a clearer understanding of how your child sees the world, and your child can now access the right support at school, including reasonable adjustments and an IDP/EHCP where appropriate.
Adult Autism and ADHD assessment

Introduction
Many adults reach a point of recognising both autistic and ADHD traits in themselves, often after years of feeling different without knowing why. The two often overlap, and one diagnosis alone may not explain the whole picture.
A combined assessment can bring real clarity, self-understanding, and access to support and adjustments at work and in daily life. It’s never too late to seek answers.

What it involves
Four main appointments: the ADOS-2 with you, the ADI-R interview, the QbCheck or QbTest, and the DIVA interview. With your consent, the ADI-R and DIVA can involve a partner, parent or someone who knows you well, which helps build a fuller picture.
We also use the BRIEF2A questionnaire to understand how everyday executive function is affected. Interviews can be held online or in person.

Why it helps
For many adults, getting both diagnoses together explains what one alone couldn’t. With that comes a clearer understanding of yourself, the language to talk about your needs at work, and access to reasonable adjustments and the right support.
A clear path from first enquiry to final report
We’ve designed the combined process to feel calm and predictable, even though there’s more ground to cover. All four assessments are coordinated by the same team, and appointments are grouped where possible to reduce the total time involved. Here’s what to expect, step by step:
Free 15-minute consultation
A no-pressure conversation with our team to talk through your situation and answer your questions.
Confirmation and case history
Once you’re ready to proceed, we agree dates and send a simple case history form.
Questionnaires
Sent to schools, workplaces or partners as appropriate, alongside the BRIEF executive function questionnaire, which gives us a picture of how executive function works in day-to-day life.
ADOS-2 assessment.
A 45 to 90 minute assessment.
ADI-R interview.
A 2.5 to 3 hour interview with a parent, partner or guardian.
QbCheck or QbTest assessment.
A computerised attention test, taking up to 60 minutes.
DIVA interview.
A 90 minute interview with a parent, partner or guardian.
Team meeting
Our clinicians from both pathways meet to formulate the diagnoses together.
Feedback appointment
We talk you through the draft report two days after you receive it.
Final report
Delivered within one week of your feedback appointment.
Ongoing support
We stay on hand to help you act on both parts of the report, coordinating school accommodations, workplace adjustments, and support for how Autism and ADHD interact in daily life.
Our Autism and ADHD pathways follow a similar structure.
What you receive
At the end of the process you receive a detailed combined report from the whole team, covering both Autism and ADHD together. The report considers how the two present alongside each other, sets out the reasoning behind each diagnosis, and includes recommendations that reflect the whole picture rather than treating each condition in isolation. It can be used to support school accommodations, workplace adjustments, or both.
Whatever the outcome, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding and a sense of what to do next. If a diagnosis isn’t given for one or both, we’ll explain why in plain terms and discuss what might help instead.
Built-in support after your assessment
For us, a combined Autism and ADHD diagnosis is just the start. We include support after your assessment to help you act on both parts of the report.
That often means thinking about how Autism and ADHD interact for the individual, coordinating with schools on accommodations for both, or supporting workplace adjustments that reflect the full picture.
In-house prescribing for ADHD medication
If a combined assessment confirms an ADHD diagnosis, our in-house Nurse Prescriber, Chris Burrows, can help you consider medication. He works with children, teenagers and adults, from initial medication assessment through to ongoing prescribing.
We keep prescribing in-house, so the person who assessed you and the person managing your medication are part of the same team. There’s no need to move to a separate platform, or repeat your history to someone new.
Prescriber rates
Initial assessment: £300. In-person review of your options, safety checks, and the start of your medication plan.
Follow-up appointment: £150. A routine review of how treatment is working, ongoing safety, and what you need going forward.
Ongoing prescribing: £30. Private prescriptions when shared care with the NHS isn’t an option, so your treatment continues without interruption.
Clear pricing, no surprises
One fixed price per assessment. No add-ons, no extras, no surprises.
Combined Autism and ADHD Assessment: £2,850
The price covers the entire pathway: all clinician time, all four assessments, questionnaires, the team meeting, your feedback appointment, your final report, and ongoing support afterwards.
We also offer flexible payment options, allowing you to spread the cost across three to six equal monthly payments.
Quick answers to common questions
How long does it take?
On average, our private combined assessment takes around 6-8 weeks from initial assessment to final report – avoiding NHS waiting lists which can stretch to years. A combined assessment involves more appointments than a single pathway (four main appointments and a team meeting), but we coordinate them as one process.
Where do assessments take place?
We see clients face-to-face at our clinics in South Wales, West Yorkshire and Kent, at partner clinics across Wales and England, or in your home at no extra cost. If you’d prefer, every part of the assessment can also be carried out online.
Is doing both pathways together better than one at a time?
For many people, yes. Autism and ADHD often overlap, and one diagnosis alone can mask the other. Looking at them together gives a clearer, more accurate picture, and saves you from going through two separate processes.
